My name is Sears. I am an enthusiast who thinks converting vans into drivable work/ live spaces is cool, and that’s why I created SIMPLE van builds…. (NOT “Complicated van builds”, “Fancy van builds”, “Pretty van builds”, “Custom van builds”, etc.).
I’m a simple guy with some basic skills. I am NOT a carpenter, engineer, plumber, electrician, mechanic, fabricator or solar expert. On the other hand, I MIGHT know more than others as it pertains to van builds, but that’s only because I’ve probably worked on more minivans than most other people have.
Just the bare essentials here; nothing more. So If you are looking to build your “dream van”, “luxury van”, or “cool van”, then I am not the guy, and this is probably not the place.
My solutions are simple and practical. I believe that the simplest solution is often the best solution.
SO, if you would like to outfit your van with the basic, bare-essential versions of:
1. having a place to lay down,
2. Being able to wash your hands,
3. Having a simple emergency bucket toilet and optionally,
4. a way to charge some electronic devices, and even
5. be able to refrigerate or cook some food, then I might be able to help you with a Simple Van Build. =)

DIY Parts List Consultation
If you live far away, don't have much of a budget, or just want to save some money and do it yourself, I offer a "DIY Parts List Consultation". After we chat on the phone, I email you a spreadsheet which includes the parts and purchase links that I think will best suit your application, including power load requirements based on what devices you plan on using. I do this to the best of my ability and it's mostly Amazon products so if something's not quite right, you can always return it. I charge $100 for this service.
